How to sculpt your face at home?

Why Technique Matters in Skincare?

In skincare, there are a few basic rules that almost everyone agrees on: it's important to wash your face in the evening and apply sunscreen during the day. Beyond that, opinions are as varied as the number of available skincare products (which is truly vast!). But when it comes to how much can be achieved at home in terms of facial sculpting, we can confirm that it's possible to get noticeable results without leaving your home.

Does facial sculpting really work?

At Danucera, we often say that technique matters, and that applies to facial sculpting too. Using your own hands or tools like a stone gua sha tool, you can sculpt the contours while applying products and massaging the skin. First, it's important to always use upward strokes when applying skincare products, as they gently improve circulation and stimulate the skin.

The Danucera sculpting stone can help lift, sculpt, firm, and reduce puffiness, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. Our facial massager is made from 100% natural white jade, known for its healing properties, absorbing and releasing toxins trapped in the face and body. White jade is also known for its ability to calm the mind and body. So you can achieve mental clarity and better skin condition simultaneously.

What does facial sculpting do?

Facial sculpting, specifically gua sha massage, increases circulation and promotes lymphatic drainage in the facial area, which helps move fluids and create the appearance of more sculpted facial features and reduced puffiness. It can make eyes look more open, cheekbones more defined, and the jawline more distinct.

How long do facial sculpting effects last?

Manual facial sculpting is not permanent, but the effects can be noticed immediately and last for two to three days.

Is facial sculpting worth it?

As Danucera founder, Danuta Mieloch, explains, facial sculpting helps reduce puffiness and improve the appearance of healthy skin: "Lymph nodes filter our bodies." When we stimulate them, we help move fluids and reduce water retention. "Using the correct lymphatic drainage technique with light, 'pumping' movements under the eyes and along the jawline instantly reduces puffiness."

How to sculpt your face at home?

After cleansing your face with Cerabalm and toning with D22 Tonic, apply a small amount of Cerabalm (pea-sized) to your face. Starting from the décolletage, hold the flat side of the gua sha sculpting stone against your chest, moving it upwards towards your jawline. Then, starting from the center of your chin, move the gua sha stone along your jawline, first on the left side, then on the right side, up to your ears. Make upward strokes from your eyebrows to your hairline. Next, using the ridged side of the sculpting stone, make outward movements along your cheekbones, starting from the side of your nose and ending at your hairline. Finally, gently press the tip of the stone around your eyes, making circular movements from the inner corner of the eye upwards along the eyebrow and down under the eye. Perform gentle pumping movements to aid lymphatic drainage.

Facial sculpting can be a pleasant treatment with noticeable results. Our favorite way to do it at home is by using Cerabalm and a gua sha stone.
