The underarms are an area of skin with specific physiological characteristics — due to a greater number of sweat glands, higher occlusion, and more intense sweat secretion, the pH in this area is around 6.5 (compared to around 5.5 in other parts of the skin). As a result, bacteria responsible for unpleasant odor develop more easily. To prevent this, various ingredients are used in deodorants. The effectiveness of this product also depends on its skin tolerance, which can be increased, among other things, by the absence of alcohol in its composition.
